rss really simple syndication

What is an rss feed and how do I get one?
I’m not sure what RSS is I understand it means Really Simple Syndication. But what’s that?
RSS is a data format used for providing people with frequently updated content. Think of it like having a subscription to a magazine. To “get” an RSS feed you need a program called an RSS reader. There are several good ones out there.
For example you certain software can collect RSS data such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, Safari.
or if that’s too complex you different websites allow you to add RSS feeds to your main page. An easy one would be your My Yahoo page if you go to personalize > content you can add rss feeds that way.
You can find some more ways to get RSS here:

IF you don’t see anything you like just run a Yahoo! search on something you do, they probably have an RSS feed on that topic too!
